DLAD Definition

DLAD stands for Driver Assessment and License Appeal Office, which is an administrative agency a part of the Michigan Secretary of State. It is now known as DAAD (Driver Assessment and Appeal Division). In Michigan, in order to have your driver’s license reinstated you have to have a DAAD/DLAD hearing scheduled with the Secretary of State by filling out a form requesting a hearing at one of the Secretary of State’s branch offices.
