Child erotica documents, writings, photographs, videos, materials, or other items that are sexually arousing to persons having a sexual interest in minors but that are not, in and of themselves, obscene or do not depict children in sexually explicit poses or positions. Child erotica, so long as it doesn’t rise to the level of child pornography, is not illegal.
